Word has it that the Willow Glen Business Association (WGBA) made about $30K from its June 26 “Dancin’ on the Avenue” festival.
Personally, I’d like to see a big chunk of that come back to the Avenue, and not in “Avenue Beautification” because businesses like mine are already paying for that.
How about some events to bring hard revenue dollars to the businesses that are on the Avenue? After all, my business, as well as several others, lost hundreds of revenue dollars because customers couldn’t reach us. We think of it as the donation we made to the Willow Glen Business Association against our will.
So how about it, WGBA? What are you going to donate back to the Avenue’s businesses?

Whatta HOT HaflAdira today! You have to be a dedicated belly dancer to come out in today’s heat. Meridian Band was great, the performances were rich, and the audience was appreciative. I couldn’t have asked for more.
